Our Story:

What started as a greeting card business in the basement of Marty Kalan's Philadelphia home over 50 years ago, Kalan has grown to be one of the leading suppliers of novelty items in the United States. Kalan is a third generation, family owned business; Current CEO Andrew Kalan, Marty's grandson, has worked strategically in partnering with many licensors with trending popular properties as well as growing the business in mass market accounts and into new customer segments like souvenir & branded items and toy & gift. While the business is no longer in that basement in Philly, we have grown to have two warehouses in

Lansdowne, PA - minutes from Philadelphia.

Giving Back:

With the help of our employee ran Fun Committee, we participate in supporting our local food drive to serve our neighbors as well as Toys for Tots and adopting a family with our local mission during the holiday season.

Kalan and our sales representatives work with thousands of accounts across the United States and Canada yearly. Our online ecommerce team works with customers in Europe and Australia, broadening our reach of making people smile.
